An extensive list (yet most definitely incomplete) of articles, books, videos, policy papers, and other sources informed our understanding of the history of community control, decentralization, and mayoral control. We used Zotero to help us organize our literature, and we include this bibliography as a suggested review of these eras of governance in New York City public school history and policy.
